Antenna Polarisations

Polarisation refers to the type of RF field emission. Antennas resonate in different ways to produce different polarisations.

Did you know that some antennas are not polarised at all? Near field antennas do not have a polarisation as such. These antennas create intense near-zone magnetic fields but are in efficient in radiating.
