Supply Chain Planner - Full Time

About the role:

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning, forecasting, resourcing our components, and managing supplier contracts and relationships. This role will suit someone with strong planning, analytics, forecasting, and commercial management skills. 

This role aims to ensure our production has the right inventory to manufacture and ship finished goods to meet customer demands. To achieve this, the person in this position needs to analyse and forecast future customer trends and manage key suppliers and freight providers.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee Materials Requirements Planning.
  • Set and maintain stock management system data, including item data and bills of material.
  • Analysis and optimisation of the supply chain (cost, lead-time, freight) to ensure a robust ongoing supply of locally and internationally sourced components based on forecasts.
  • Administer the provision of monthly ordering plans.
  • Ordering as required.
  • Update and maintain inventory management software data.
  • Proactively identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
