Times-7 showcased as ‘Kiwi World Beater’ at 2013 NZ Hi-Tech Awards

A New Zealand Hi-Tech Award is one of the technology sector’s most sought-after accolades - being awarded to New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies and highest achieving individuals.

At a gala evening in May and with over 700 guests assembled at SKYCITY in Auckland, Times-7 was announced an award winner in this year’s NZ Hi-Tech Awards ‘Kiwi World Beater’ honours list - for companies that have had success in awards programmes in 2012.

Having won the Innovation Award at the Westpac Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in 2012, the NZ Hi-Tech Trust acknowledged Times-7’s accolade along with 12 other ‘Kiwi World Beater’ hi-tech companies, including 2degrees Mobile, Datacom, and Xero.

Times-7 CEO Antony Dixon says, "With innovation at the core of Times-7, our unique and patented RFID antenna products are accelerating the adoption of RFID in commercially significant ways around the world. To be acknowledged by the NZ Hi-Tech Trust as a ‘Kiwi World Beater’ at this year’s Hi-Tech Awards, it is another great endorsement for Times-7 as a company and our entire team of talented RFID experts."
